“City Park Jazz is proud to announce our lineup for our landmark 40th annual summer series and Celebration of Community! City Park Jazz is a “celebration of community” that began in 1986 featuring only local musicians. Sunday evenings throughout the summer sees anywhere from 8,000 to 12,000 neighbors from City Park neighborhoods — and all over Colorado —enjoying the amazing talent that calls the Centennial State home, all free of charge. June 8: Film on the Rocks: The Princess Bride

“Film on the Rocks is Denver’s ultimate outdoor movie experience, showcasing a curated slate of movies under the stars at the world’s most iconic outdoor venue: Red Rocks Amphitheater. Each film is preceded by live entertainment to kick off the evening. Film on the Rocks is a collaborative production of Denver Film and Denver Arts & Venues. June 13: Red Bull Soapbox Denver

“Red Bull Soapbox Race returns to the Mile High City for the first time in 18 years, taking over Empower Field at Mile High on Saturday, June 13. One of only two U.S. stops on this year’s tour, Denver will welcome forty-six teams armed with handmade soapbox crafts, hometown pride, and a whole lot of nerve to prove that Denver builds things differently. June 20-21: Juneteenth Music Festival

“Each year Denver’s Historic Five Points Neighborhood transforms into a hub of entertainment and celebration for the community in honor of Juneteenth, the day when the last of the nation’s enslaved people learned of their freedom. Attend the Juneteenth Music Festival’s 15th Annual Street Festival, directly following the Juneteenth Parade on Saturday, June 20th, for an engaging, interactive session designed for makers, and innovators. “Same Pride, new place! This year, we’re taking over downtown and bringing the party to 16th Street.
