Also, in the holiday season more showing opportunities are available during the shortened daylight hours because buyers have more flexibility and time available to see homes.
It’s Easy to Schedule Showings So They Don’t Interfere
As a seller one can avoid stress by making it clear to your agent what days you will not be allowing your home to be available for showings. The agent can then advertise the days you DON’T want to show your home so you are not bothered. Blocking out certain days around Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years allows your house to be your sanctuary during those special times with year.

Finally, a seller might often worry about decorating a home and how that might impact its appearance and appeal to some buyers. I tell my sellers to go ahead, have fun, and decorate as they wish.
