Present-December 31: Downtown Denver’s 31-Day Merrython
“Every day of December, there will be holiday activities, pop-ups and events planned all along the 16th Street pedestrian promenade. The Downtown Denver Partnership is spearheading the following:
- Every tree on 16th Street will be lit up with holiday lights starting at the end of November.
- There will be two interactive light installations: “Impulse” will be located at Wynkoop Plaza and “Light Lanes” will be located at 16th and Tremont.
- And look for a storefront that will be all done up with holiday lights and decor.” More Info!
Present-December 31: Mile High Drone Shows

December 31: New Year’s Eve Fireworks
“The sky will once again sparkle over downtown at the close of 2025 with the New Year’s Eve Fireworks. The 8-minute spectacular fireworks shows will occur at 9 p.m and midnight. The fireworks show can be seen near the Sheraton Hotel and near the middle of downtown near Curtis St. For the best NYE experience in downtown, book a restaurant reservation before the show and then stay the night at a hotel!”
December 31: New Year’s Eve at the Mile High Tree
“Join in the celebration as the Mile High Tree will host a special ball drop-style countdown at 9 p.m. at the Tivoli Quad on Auraria Campus. Admission is free!”
