Scott left his home in Georgia in 1996 and headed west to Durango, CO to attend Fort Lewis College and to pursue mountain biking, skiing, camping, backpacking and all of the other wonderful outdoor opportunities that the mountains of Colorado provide. In 2003, Scott chose to make Denver his new home as it offers a perfect blend of career opportunities, a vibrant music and arts scene, a diverse culinary world, and plentiful outdoor activities. What he didn’t realize was that he would fall in love with the city for its diverse, charming, and unique neighborhoods!
After a long career in commercial construction management, Scott returned to school, obtaining a second degree in mechanical engineering. Following a brief stint in commercial HVAC sales post-engineering school, he realized that something was missing. After much soul searching, Scott discovered that he was missing making personal connections with colleagues and clients. Coming from a family of realtors and residential general contractors, Scott decided to take the plunge into real estate himself, as it is “in his blood.” Helping guide his clients through one of the largest decisions they will make in their personal lives is both truly rewarding and highly meaningful to him. It is Scott’s highest honor to be selected by a client to get to know them and serve them in this role.
Scott’s favorite part of his career in real estate is getting to know his clients on a personal level and understanding their needs and dreams so that he can facilitate an enjoyable, and successful home buying experience for them. Scott is highly knowledgeable about the Denver real estate market and its unique neighborhoods. He is also skilled at remodels, fix and flips, and what to look for in a good investment property. Feel free to contact him about any of your real estate needs and questions, be it a primary residence or an investment property…..or if you would like to consult about what home improvements will add the most value to your home….or just to chat about music, guitars, the best taco joints in town, skiing or mountain biking, or anything else for that matter! 🙂
