Born and raised in Colorado, Rachel enjoys using her local knowledge to help her clients across the greater Denver area. Growing up in Lakewood, and currently residing in Wash Park, Rachel has a great feel for both Suburban and Urban living.
In addition to Rachel’s attention to detail and professionalism, she brings the fun factor to any real estate transaction. Her “can do” or “the show must go on” approach is grounded in her background in the performing arts. After receiving a Vocal Performance Degree and spending a year in New York City studying musical theatre at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy she came back to good old CO and began a professional career in theatre and film, performing in theatres and in front of the camera all around Colorado. Her love for fashion and design then led her to start a costume design business which taught her the skills of organization, problem-solving and honed her eye for design.
Her business background, passion for design, and desire to help people made her career in Real Estate the perfect fit. We knew Rachel through other avenues and reached out when my mother planned to move to Colorado. We went from looking for a condo for just my mother, to a house for my family with a separate suite/apartment for my mother so we could all be together. I loved working with Rachel! She really listened to what I was looking for and understood my budget. She helped me find a beautiful condo that was remodeled, in the area I was looking for, and she helped me get a great deal on it. She knew, since I have a son, I needed a place that was ready to move in to and didn't require a lot of work because I just don't have the time. My son is so excited for our new place and said, "wow, my room is so huge!" I even had to have emergency surgery during the process of looking at homes and Rachel still went to the homes we had scheduled that day and sent me video walkthroughs so I could rule out things that just weren't going to work. Rachel helped sell a $1M property and facilitated a 1031 exchange for houses in multiple states. She was heavily involved in the marketing of the house, both from how the house looks inside and out, as well as marketing the house to the public. She did a great job navigating through closing. On the buy side, she helped us select the right house, in the right area AND the one that's in the best condition for the price.
