Do you loathe typical real estate agent bios? Don’t worry, I do too. They’re like cardboard — stiff, bland, and identical to every other bio out there. Instead of boasting ad nauseum about awards and accomplishments you’re not interested in, I’m taking the novel approach of actually giving you what you want — real answers to questions you’re probably wondering about at this moment. For example:
Will you return my calls and emails? Yes. Without question. I realize this is one of the major frustrations the general public has when dealing with agents. I get dozens of calls and emails daily, and I work hard to reply as quickly as possible.
Are you like all other Realtors? Here’s what I can tell you: I’m honest and candid. I take pride in being approachable and friendly. If you need a quick real estate brain or a strong dose of honesty, you’re in the right place. Loyalty to family, clients, and friends is one of my core values. Want to find out if I’m the real deal? Talk to any of those people…they’ll tell you that I’m anything but the typical Realtor. And yes, I can and will put you in touch with them.
Do you have experience doing exactly what I need? Most agents are going to give you a quick and emphatic YES to this question. If they do, hoist a red flag! Until we have a dialog that can help determine your exact need, I can’t answer this one…yet. In the meantime, here are some “strong suits” of mine: Representing home sellers who want more from their agent than just simply putting a sign in the front lawn and waiting for the phone to ring, home buyers…both first-time and seasoned pros, investment properties, trust sales and the list goes on. If your goal or situation isn’t represented on this list, don’t worry… contact me anyway. If I can’t help, I’ll get you referred to another agent who can.
What are some things you’re really good at? On a personal level, I’m pretty good at cooking (I make a mean pot roast!), and I like scuba diving and hiking. On a professional level, here are the skill sets that I’ve developed over the years: Listening, which, unfortunately, is a lost art these days. Negotiating (in YOUR best interest, not mine!) Providing clients with the best resources to save money and get the home of their dreams or sell their home for top dollar. Unparalleled customer service. I take pride in this…it’s not just lip service. I’ve been known to take out your trash and even help pack your moving truck.
If you have an agent… great. If you want a great agent… CALL DAVID!!
